Connections Health Solutions is a physician-owned, multifaceted behavioral health company whose mission is to address any behavioral health need at any time.
We are hiring a Therapist for a new substance abuse clinic in Tucson, Arizona who will provide services to include individual therapy, group counseling, life skills sessions, clinical interventions, crisis management, family therapy, and assistance in case management and support system development.

  • Complete and review initial Opioid Assessment
  • Assist in member's family crisis
  • Provide internal education regarding DBT, trauma informed care, harm reduction, and service plan documentation
  • Maintain professional documentation regarding the member's recovery
  • Provide necessary resource and support system development
  • Provide necessary client information to referring department and the family (contact logs, reports, case updates)
  • Provide necessary referrals for additional therapeutic services
  • Provide crisis intervention as necessary
  • Participate in case conferences
  • Provide member advocacy
  • Provide case management
  • Assist Recovery Coaches with coordinating services and revising service plans
  • Assist Program Coordinator in assessment and compliance measures
  • Provide weekly updates to Director of Clinical Services on all cases

  • EDUCATION: At least a Master's Degree in social work or counseling from an accredited college or university
  • EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years' experience in Opioid Treatment
  • LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: AZ Behavioral Health license required (LAC, LMSW, LASAC). Independent license preferred (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LISAC)
    • Knowledge of principles of recovery, family of origin/intergenerational issues, and co-occurring psychiatric disorders
    • Knowledge in CARF OTP/MAT Standards of care
    • Knowledge and experience working with special populations (Those individuals identified as having serious mental illness, substance abuse diagnoses, brain injuries and those over 60 years of age)
