We have also developed business, consulting and supportive services (such as housing programs) that benefit the people we serve as well as other nonprofits, organizations, government departments and health plans. We are currently looking for a qualified Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in Tucson!
Registered Nurse performs tasks in providing comprehensive, intensive, on-site clinical crisis services to behavioral health members in the level 1 sub-acute facility. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, organizing and directing patient care. The RN facilitates recovery by interviewing, screening, and assessing risk factors for mental illness and broader wellness evaluations. Ensure individuals are safe, healthy, and staying in a clean environment while in the 16-bed, inpatient facility, and will be responsible for encountering services within the Electronic Health Record.
A bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and at least (1) year experience providing outpatient services to an adult population with chronic mental illness. OR, and Associates degree in Nursing and at least three (3) years’ experience providing outpatient services to an adult population with chronic mental illness. Current, active, unrestricted license in the state of AZ as a Registered Nurse (RN). The preferred candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must have or be able to obtain a fingerprint clearance certification.
