Under general supervision: provides all IT Specialist duties [provides network support and security services, performs server backup and restore procedures, tape rotations and standard security procedures, and performs basic user administration for the CPI Local Area Networks (LAN) in a multiple server enterprise environment] and performs troubleshooting of the network and components, upgrades network server hardware and software components, analyzes user access, acquires new hardware and software through vendors as requested, ensures adherence to LAN policies and procedures. Provides patch-management and virus scan updates to client workstations. Provides client help-desk support.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IS, or related field with three (3) years’ experience in a Windows 2000/XP environment OR certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional, or certification as a CompTIA Network+ technician with two (2) years’ experience in a Windows 2000/XP environment. Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.
